Easter Project p4: Bias Cut

bias cut is when the fabric is cut diagonally across the grain. It is used to follow the form of the body closely. Often used on fabrics such a silk or satin for the slink factor. However it is very costly  due to the insufficient use of fabric. Popular during the 1920's and 1930's and now a signature style in many designers collections today.
