Cording s a relief effect in two layers of fabric when a cord is placed in between the two pieces of fabric and is the stitched down either side of the cord.Cord brings elaborate, interlaced compositions up from the surface with low-relief modelling. This can be done many different ways and with different widths of cords and can be either hand sewn or machine sewn giving a beautiful quilting effect.
